Responding When the Pressure is On

Ever deal with conflict or tough conversations? Do you wish you knew what to say when you are under pressure or feeling tension in a relationship? Great communication skills have the power to influence how you engage at home, on the farm, in Farm Bureau, and with consumers or legislative decision makers. During this workshop, participants will learn to de-escalate tension more effectively, negotiate with greater confidence, and build stronger relationships. Through the skills covered during this session, you’ll learn to advocate for agriculture, navigate conflict, and approach important conversations with clarity and confidence.

This session is open to anyone. For those who attended CCI on Saturday, this session will take a deeper dive into all six skills for effective communication and relationship management to benefit all areas of life, work and Farm Bureau.
