Hosted by the American Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee, this Cultivation Center Stage session will explore how the findings from the National Women in Agriculture Study are helping shape the future of women’s leadership and engagement in agriculture.
Following the largest national study of women in agriculture conducted as part of the International Year of the Woman Farmer, panelists will share how the research is being put into action at the state, national and industry levels. A state Women’s Chair, a national WLC representative and an industry partner will gather to discuss how they are using the study’s findings to better understand the experiences and needs of women in agriculture—and translate those insights into meaningful programs, resources and opportunities.
The conversation will highlight what the data is telling us, what Farm Bureau and industry partners are doing with it, and where we go from here. Attendees will leave with ideas and inspiration for using the study as a tool to strengthen programs, engage women in agriculture and create greater impact in their own communities.
Research gives us the insight. Now it’s time to put it to work.
