Walnut Farm in Shelby, NC is a diversified farm specializing in hay production, row crops, and custom farming services. The farm hosts a rebaling operation that converts round bales into square bales, with a square bale count of over 200,000 annually. The farm also cultivates over 800 acres of row crops, and harvests more than 400 acres of hay each year. In addition to its own farming operations, Walnut Farm provides custom combining, rebaling and mowing services to Cleveland and surrounding counties. At the heart of the farm stands a 4,500-square-foot, iconic two-story red barn, offering a unique farm-style venue for weddings, special events, and gatherings.
